Students Enjoy Ethiopian Cuisine
Students from Barksdale Fellow Ashleen Williams’ Hon 102 classes enjoyed a full spread of Ethiopian food at Derae Restaurant in Memphis. Derae offered a full menu, complete with desserts and tea, and taught the students how to eat the food. The students seemed to enjoy the goat meat the best. Thanks to Williams for encouraging her students to explore the world through cuisine, and thanks to Derae Restaurant for the educational experience!
