Congratulations to SMBHC sophomore Blair Wortsmith, who was crowned the 2017 Ole Miss Most Beautiful at the Parade of Beauties pageant on February 1.

The second annual #hocofo was a success! Over 1,000 students danced the night away at The Lyric on February 3.             

For the first time, honors wintersession experiences were offered through the Department of Outreach and Continuing Education. Students learned delicious recipes and cooked a whole hog with Chef John Currence. Blacksmith Andy Waller shared his expertise with a select number of students. David Howorth taught honors students–and two honors staff members!–the basics of Bridge.

Rising SMBHC juniors and seniors may apply to the Summer 2017 Clinical Shadowing Program, an opportunity to observe physicians in a clinical environment at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Read more about this program. The application deadline is February 15, 2017.
