With over nine years of dedicated service at the University of Mississippi, Sirena Brannon has built a diverse career across various UM departments, including Chemistry & Biochemistry and Facilities Management. She also teaches EDHE 105 during the Fall semester. Currently at the Honors College, Sirena focuses on promoting academic excellence and providing exceptional support for high-achieving students. Sirena holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from The University of Mississippi, providing a strong foundation for her professional endeavors. Passionate about education and student success, she strives to create opportunities that empower students to reach their full potential. In addition to professional achievements, Sirena is dedicated to continuous leaning and community engagement. Outside of work, she enjoys skating, summering in Pensacola, FL, and spending quality time with family, which includes her husband, five sons, two grandsons, and two granddaughters. One of her sons, Spencer, is currently studying psychology at UM.
