John McKinnon, MD, founder and director of the Montana Academy, a therapeutic school for troubled teenagers, lectures on his recent book, An Unchanged Mind. McKinnon was educated at Harvard College, Cambridge University, Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, Yale School of Medicine, and Norwich University. The Honors College Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest is Wednesday, October 27th at 7:00. Come show off your pumpkin carving talents and enjoy freshly-baked cookies and fun times.

Christina Bonnington, a SMBHC alumna, was the first in Mississippi to be honored as a national Tau Beta Pi laureate. Tau Beta Pi is the world’s largest engineering honor society, and there are only 5 awards given a year. To read more about her award, click here. Congratulations Christina!
