Deeneaus “D” Polk, SMBHC class of 2011, is serving as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Frankfurt at Hans-Böckler-Schule. In addition to teaching at this professional school, D is particularly excited to participate in movements for educational reform in Germany, a passion that was developed during his time with the State Department and working on his thesis over the course of the last year. D is the University’s 9th Fulbright US Student Award winner since 2000. Congratulations, D!!
