Tori and Lexi Thoman, junior honors students, have each been awarded a Boren Award to study abroad for the 2011-2012 academic year. Tori will study Chinese in Harbin, China, while Lexi will study Portuguese in Brazil. The Boren Award is a nationally-competitive study abroad scholarship, which recognizes students whose future plans and interests involve US national security. Tori and Lexi were two of 151 winners of the Boren this year. Congratulations Tori and Lexi!
