The Honors College received an unprecedented number of applications by its deadline, 27.5% more than the previous record set last year.  The admissions committee is diligently reviewing these applications and will notify applicants of their decision by the end of February.  We are impressed by the quality of the applicants and are excited in the interest you have shown in the University of Mississippi and the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.
