SMBHC Student Named 2012 Udall Scholar
Taylor Cook, Public Policy Leadership and Spanish, is a 2012 Udall Scholar. The Udall Foundation awards 80 undergraduate scholarships to students committed to careers related to the environment, tribal public policy, or Native American health care. Taylor has championed the implementation of Green Fund on campus and helped to empower other sustainability leaders in our state, region and nation. Her most significant contributions have been to the Mississippi Alumni & Students for Sustainability (MASS), the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy (SACE) and our very own Office of Campus Sustainability.
