Whither the State of Mississippi?

Professors, we invite you to create a course (1- to 3-hours) preparing students to engage the questions surrounding Mississippi at Mid-Century:

Our current brain drain, disappearing labor force, and declining population decimate our State of Mississippi. Design a course that engages the questions that create directions and suggestions for policies to encourage an economically sound, socially responsible, better Mississippi in 2050—a place you would want your grandchildren to grow up in.

OR

Make us jealous. Propose a course for 2020 or 2021 that makes our Honors students scramble to enroll first! If you would like to try out an innovative pedagogy, or look intently at a narrow subject in your field or at an interdisciplinary topic (subjects not always covered by departmental offerings, in other words), please give us a course proposal to consider.
