The Big Event
On March 24, 2018, volunteers served the LOU community through the UM Big Event, the largest community service project in the history of the University of Mississippi. Over 2,100 students participated this year, including several UM Stamps Scholars, who worked with the Office of Sustainability to sift and bag more than 4,500 pounds of compost created from campus food waste.
