On Thursday, November 16th at 6 PM, HoCo Senate is hosting Dollar Dinner to benefit The Pantry of Oxford and Lafayette County. Here’s more information:

What’s for dinner? Taylor Grocery will be catering a Thanksgiving style meal. Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, etc. will be served.

Where is the Dollar Dinner? Dollar Dinner will be held in the Honors College on Thursday at 6 PM.

How much does it cost? Either $2 or, preferably, any of the following items: 3 cans of corn, 3 cans of green beans, onions, 3 cans of chicken broth, marshmallows, corn meal (5 lbs), 3 cans of condensed milk, brown sugar (5 lbs), cinnamon, vanilla extract, sweet potatoes (5 lbs), potatoes (5 lbs), sugar (5 lbs), and/or $25 grocery gift card.

Who receives the donations?  The Pantry of Oxford and Lafayette County serves members of Lafayette County in need.

We encourage all Honors Students to take part in helping out a good cause and enjoying a Thanksgiving meal with friends. We hope to see y’all there!
