Apply Now for US-UK Fulbright Commission’s Summer Institutes
Freshmen and Sophomores interested in travel and study in the United Kingdom this summer should check out the US-UK Fulbright Commission’s Summer Institutes for United States undergraduates. This competitive program offers full funding for United States undergraduates (aged over 18), with at least two years of undergraduate study left to complete, to come to the UK on a three, four, five or six week academic and cultural summer program. Students apply for one of nine programs, which cover topics such as Shakespeare and the Globe Theater, Climate Change, Slavery and Atlantic Heritage, Rome’s Northern Frontier, Leadership, Development Studies, and Scottish, Irish, or Welsh culture. Students with little or no international travel experience are preferred. Application deadlines vary by program and are February 23 or 26, 2016.
