Honors College Receives Record Number of Applications

The Honors College received 1,318 applications by its deadline, 23% more than the previous record set last year.  The application pool represents 34 states and 3 foreign countries.  The admissions committee is diligently reviewing these applications and will notify applicants of their decision by the end of February.  We are impressed by the quality of the applicants and are excited in the interest you have shown in the University of Mississippi and the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.
