We congratulate the 170 students accepted to join the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College’s 2014 freshman class  who applied through our Early-Action option!  You promise to be part of an exciting class of citizen-scholars at the University of Mississippi.  The SMBHC received 295 applications by our Early-Action deadline, a 17% increase over last year.  We accepted 170 students from 22 states.  They average a 31 on the ACT and have an average high school GPA of 3.93.   Remember, January 15, 2014 is the deadline for those who want to compete through our regular decision option.  The Special Programs and Scholarship Application for prospective Fall 2014 freshmen is available here.
