Guest lecturers Robert Hass and Brenda Hillman will deliver the 2010 Fall Honors Convocation entitled “Imagination Makes Communities” on Tuesday, October 12 at 7:00 pm in the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts. Robert Haas, winner of the National book Award and Pulitzer Prize, was U. S. Poet Laureate from 1995-97. Brenda Hillman is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Poetry Fellowship and Guggenheim Fellowship. Both are prominent environmental and political activities. They will also host a poetry reading on October 10 & 11 at 7:00 pm in Nutt Auditorium. The events are free and open to the public.
