Junior Anna Hailey (Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry/ Chinese) has been awarded a Barry Goldwater Scholarship. This award goes to sophomores and juniors who have demonstrated outstanding promise as researchers in the sciences, mathematics, or engineering, and who are clearly committed to a career in research science. Anna is the university’s 12th Goldwater Scholar, the 8th since 2000.
