Rebecca Oliver joined the SMBHC family in August 2023 as Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Academics. She has a multifaced role collaborating with colleagues and students in the Honors College Living-Learning Community (LLC), Luckyday Residential College, and Residential College South to advance student learning and encourage student engagement. Originally from St. Louis, MO, Rebecca earned her M.A. in Counseling/Higher Education Administration from Truman State University in 1997. She has a background in student development, enrollment management, co-curricular learning, study abroad, and enjoys working with highly motivated students to help them achieve their aspirations. Most recently, she served as Director of the Honors College at Arkansas State University for nearly 16 years. In her spare time, Rebecca loves baking, spending time with her family, and tailgating in the Grove!
