Originally from Alabama, Penny Leeton moved to Oxford in 1984 and has worked at the University of Mississippi for over 28 years. Penny earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development from the University of Mississippi in 2004 and received the Outstanding Senior Award in Human Development by the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. In 2010, Penny was named Outstanding Staff Member Professional Non-Faculty. Penny has been employed with the SMBHC since 2003. She manages daily operations of the honors college, including overseeing major SMBHC events like the honors convocations.
