On May 9, the Honors Commissioning Ceremony took place at The Sandy and John Black Pavilion at Ole Miss, where we celebrated the SMBHC Class of 2024.

Abigail Metcalf served as SMBHC Class Marshal. Students groups were represented on stage by Azurrea Curry (HoCoMEC), Kresha Patel (Honors Senate), Racheal Embry (First-Gen Student Network), and Ally Watrous (Honors Ambassadors). Student speakers were nominated by members of the graduating class. Kresha Patel welcomed everyone; Nya Thompson gave the address; and Daneel Konnar delivered the charge. HG Biggs (not pictured) won the Dean’s Prize for earning the most honors hours in her class.
